Over the years, the owners have invested approximately $250,000 in high-quality renovations aimed at enhancing both comfort and durability.

**Notable Improvements**
- A new metal roof was installed in 2019.
- A new septic system with a filtration field designed for 4 bedrooms was completed in November 2022.
- The oil tank was replaced in 2016.
- The hot water tank was replaced in 2024.
- The flooring in the second living room on the main level was upgraded to birch hardwood.
- The interior gypsum walls on the main floor were completely repainted.
- New appliances were installed: stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
- The stonework and path in front of the house, on the lake side, were repaired. Numerous perennials and trees--including pines, oaks, and spruces--were planted across the property.
- The foundation cladding and front porch were redone in slate.
- A French drain was installed.
- The deck on the lakeside was rebuilt using cedar wood.
- The stone terrace and shoreline retaining walls were repaired.

- A portion of the basement was converted into nautical storage, but it could easily be repurposed in the future.
